Books are a great gesture because if you choose the right one, you can sell yourself while showing a deserving client your gratitude. I send my important clients books as thank-you gifts and always include a short note that says something like, “This book reminded me of you.” Or “Thanks a Million”, or “Thought you would appreciate this.” But in reality, I choose books that reinforce the value of using my business.
